We were delighted to welcome back Old Clayesmorian Alex Ashmore (Manor, 2018) to Clayesmore last term. Alex, now an international journalist working with SportyTV and Real MadridTV, returned to share his experiences with our Modern Languages pupils. 

Hearing first-hand from an OC who has carved out a global career in journalism is incredibly inspiring for our current pupils. Alex spoke about the value of language skills in the media industry, life working abroad, and the path he took after leaving Clayesmore. 

These visits are an invaluable opportunity for pupils to connect the dots between their studies and the exciting possibilities beyond school. A huge thank you to Alex for taking the time to return and for being such a brilliant role model to our current students!
