Boyd Brackstone, former member of staff who tutored Maths in the Teaching and Learning Centre for many years, is also an accomplished tennis player. He coached tennis at Clayesmore during his years at the school and took a party to the Wimbledon Championships each summer. 

Boyd and his doubles partner won the International Tennis Federation's World Championship in 2023 in their age category. An outstanding achievement. Attached is a photo of him, wearing his white Clayesmore tennis shirt, after the final.

Boyd retired in 2015 so a number of you will know him.
