Daisy Baker who works at Clayesmore in the Sports Centre, has qualified for the Ironman World Championship in October 2025.

Daisy was the youngest in the field and finished 3rd in her age group, completing the course in an incredible 10 hours and 48 minutes, which involved a 3.8km swim, 180Km cycle and a 42.6km run.  This is an outstanding achievement, and she is obviously extremely excited for the race next year.
