This year saw the 25th City Lunch which has for many years been held at the private members Beaujolais just off Charing Cross Road. Despite some last minute obstacles like broken trains and political party duties, attendance was at an all time high of 26. Emma Morris won the Beaujolais prize this year for being a loyal attendee, and everyone enjoyed themselves - some did not leave until after 10p.m . Organiser Hugh Thompson said “These lunches plus are always special but the efforts of the schools Hannah Lister and Hamish Dow bringing his concert party made this extra special.” We look forward to seeing you all next year. |
